In 2010  Jacob Mekkelholt and Bruun Laeven, founded Obonto. Disappointed in existing large scale development foundations we thought there might be a better way...

We are very hopefull for the future, because most people are willing to make a better future for themselves and their children , with a little help, support and encouragement.

This idea inspired us to found our own little Stichting Obonto. We want to do it in our own way, because we believe in small scale local development for and above all, wíth the local communities!
